BoA’s official fan club, Jumping BoA, will officially conclude its operations following the end of the singer’s long-standing exclusive contract with SM Entertainment.
On January 12, SM Entertainment released an official statement announcing that BoA and the company have mutually agreed to part ways after 25 years together, with her exclusive contract set to expire on December 31, 2025.
The agency stated, “We would like to sincerely thank Jumping BoA members and all fans who have always loved and supported artist BoA. After long and in-depth discussions, we have reached an agreement to conclude our 25-year partnership as of December 31.”
As a result, operations for BoA’s official fan club community will gradually come to an end. According to the announcement, all uploaded services within BoA’s fan club community on Weverse will be discontinued, and sales of Jumping BoA Membership and BoA Digital Membership will officially end on January 19, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. KST, with new memberships no longer available from that point onward.
The BoA fan club community itself will remain accessible until March 31, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. KST, after which the service will be fully terminated, and access to the community will no longer be possible. Regarding the Weverse Shop, BoA’s music products will remain available for purchase until further notice, while official merchandise will continue to be sold until December 31, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. KST.
SM Entertainment added that detailed information regarding refunds for Jumping BoA Membership and BoA Digital Membership will be provided in a separate notice through Weverse at a later date. The statement concluded with a message of gratitude to fans, saying, “We sincerely thank all Jumping BoA members who have been with us, and we ask for your continued love and support for BoA as she embarks on a new chapter ahead.”
