Apink has once again proven their status as a true “long-running icon” through their latest comeback promotions.
Apink (Park Chorong, Yoon Bomi, Jung Eunji, Kim Namjoo, and Oh Hayoung) released their 11th mini album ‘RE : LOVE’ on January 5 and actively promoted the title track "Love Me More" across various music shows.
Through their comeback stages, Apink reaffirmed their reputation as a textbook example of an idol group, showcasing stable live vocals and solid group synergy. Their performances balanced elegance and power, with each member’s distinctive tone standing out while maintaining a cohesive sound. The energetic dance break, highlighted by sharp synchronized choreography, amplified the atmosphere as fans’ cheers filled the venue, creating a concert-like intensity.
By presenting a classic emotional sensibility through a modern lens without losing Apink’s signature pure and graceful identity, the group demonstrated both their accumulated experience and an upgraded team color. Their stage presence once again confirmed Apink as a “legend in progress.” The visuals and styling—blending winter’s softness with the freshness of spring—also resonated with global fans across generations.
In addition to the title track, Apink performed the B-side ‘Sunshine,’ delivering a hopeful message over a refreshing band sound, while the ballad ‘Hold My Hand’ conveyed heartfelt emotions toward fans, further deepening the meaning of their 15th debut anniversary. Meanwhile, Chorong and Bomi, who are also active as unit CHOBOM, showcased their versatility by serving as special MCs on MBC’s Show! Music Core.
'RE : LOVE' is an album that reflects Apink’s honest narrative of love, shaped by looking back on the past 15 years since their debut. The album ranked on iTunes Top Album charts in 19 regions, reaffirming the group’s enduring global popularity. The title track Love Me More also performed strongly on domestic and international charts and gained additional attention through dance challenges.
Continuing their momentum, Apink will hold their eighth solo concert ‘The Origin : APINK’ on February 21 and 22 at Jangchung Arena in Seoul. The concert is expected to comprehensively showcase the group’s journey from their beginnings to the present, further solidifying Apink’s legacy as one of K-pop’s longest-running girl groups.
