Variety show producer, wife of Min Kyung Hoon, makes first public appearance after marriage

Shin Gi Eun, the producer of JTBC’s new variety program ‘Same Day Delivery Our Home’, has made her first official public appearance since getting married.

On the 16th, a production presentation for JTBC’s new entertainment show ‘Same Day Delivery Our Home’ was held at The Link Seoul in Sindorim dong, Guro district, Seoul.

‘Same Day Delivery Our Home’ is a new concept variety program that goes beyond simple travel, combining mobile housing with local life to present an imaginative “real one day living experience” in which participants live in a house delivered to a dream destination. The program has drawn attention as a new project directed by Shin Gi Eun, who is married to Buzz member Min Kyung Hoon.

Shin Gi Eun joined JTBC as a producer in 2017 and formed a connection with Min Kyung Hoon through the long running variety show ‘Knowing Bros’. After holding her wedding ceremony last November, this marks her first offline appearance at an official event. Although a production presentation for ‘Last Love’ was previously held, it was conducted online, making this her first time responding to questions from reporters in person.

Chief Producer Son Chang Woo explained the origin of the show, saying, “We live in an era where delivery has become part of everyday life, and even cars can be ordered online. This led us to wonder how far delivery could go. We were inspired after seeing a foreign YouTuber unbox a house delivered through an online platform, which prompted us to develop the program.”

Shin Gi Eun shared her thoughts, saying, “The fact that a house can be delivered reflects how human intention is projected onto architecture. Rather than going to where a house is built, I felt that if there is a desire to live somewhere, a house could be delivered there. I wanted to introduce the idea of living in a dream location by having a house delivered. A house is not complete as just a structure; it becomes ‘our home’ when it is filled with the atmosphere and daily lives of the people living in it.”

The show features four cast members with different personalities and backgrounds: Kim Sung Ryung, known as the ‘food loving eldest sister’; Ha Ji Won, who brings bright and cheerful energy; Jang Young Ran, an ‘A class cook’ whose dishes come to life at her touch; and Gabi, the youngest member who adds MZ generation sensibility and humor.
