BTS member Jungkook turned on a live broadcast to communicate with fans just 10 days after becoming embroiled in dating rumors.
On December 15, Jungkook went live through the fan communication platform Weverse. This marked his first live broadcast in 10 days since dating rumors involving aespa’s Winter surfaced on December 5. Jungkook had not hosted a live broadcast since December 3, and had only briefly shared an update on December 14 by posting a photo of himself wearing a mask on social media without any accompanying message.
During the live broadcast, Jungkook spoke at length about his upcoming album, scheduled for release next year. He shared, “About half of the songs are fully mastered. I think almost everything will be done by December 19 or 20. I’ve been receiving the completed tracks and listening to them repeatedly, and I think they’re pretty good.” He added, “We gathered as members and had honest conversations about what we thought. All the members said they were satisfied and felt it turned out well,” raising anticipation among fans.
He continued, “There are about three to four performance-focused tracks. They might feel new, and they’ll be cool. There’s one really exciting song, and while I can’t say exactly how many tracks there are, there are quite a lot. There’s still a song whose choreography hasn’t been fully completed yet. Once that’s organized, I think we’ll start proper choreography practice. Recently, I played the songs in order and sang each one live. We also went over all the choreography for older album tracks. Since the muscle memory was still there, the members picked it up quickly. We’re preparing hard. I really want to make a comeback as soon as possible,” expressing his excitement.
Jungkook also shared updates about his daily life, saying, “My daily routine has gone back to normal. I used to play games late at night and go to bed very late, but these days I start getting sleepy around 10 p.m. to midnight.” He added that he has taken up reading while traveling in the car, noting, “I read books that were recommended to me on social media. Philosophy doesn’t really suit me, but I enjoy novels.”
As for the dating rumors involving Winter, Jungkook remained silent. Neither Jungkook nor Winter’s respective agencies have released any official statements regarding the rumors.
