
Girls' Generation member and actress Choi Sooyoung has shared a heartfelt message of congratulations for fellow member Tiffany Young following news of her relationship and upcoming marriage.
Choi Sooyoung spoke to the press on December 16 during the production presentation for Genie TV’s original series 'I Dol I,' held at The Saint in D-Cube City, Sindorim, Seoul. She said, “I’m really happy. It’s honestly such a joyful thing, and something that naturally makes you want to cheer.”
She continued, “The closest friends in my life are the members. No matter what choice they make, it’s something to celebrate,” adding cautiously, “There are parts where I need to be careful about what I say.”
Tiffany Young recently confirmed that she is in a serious relationship with actor Byun Yo Han, with marriage in mind. She is set to become the first married member of Girls’ Generation. In a statement, Tiffany Young shared, “I am currently in a sincere relationship with someone, with the intention of marriage,” and added, “(Byun Yo Han) is someone who helps me see the world with a positive and hopeful perspective and gives me a sense of stability.”
Meanwhile, 'I Dol I,' which premieres on December 22, is a mystery courtroom romance centered on a star lawyer with peak fandom energy, Maeng Se Na (played by Choi Sooyoung), who takes on the case of her favorite idol Kim Jae Young (Do Ra Ik), after he is accused of murder.
The series is directed by Lee Kwang Young of 'Call It Love,' with the script written by Kim Da Rin. Choi Sooyoung stars as Maeng Se Na, while Kim Jae Young, known for 'The Judge from Hell,' takes on the role of Do Ra Ik.
