The film 'Monsta X: Connect X in Cinema' celebrated its release with a successful stage greeting featuring MONSTA X and has now announced special screenings scheduled for its second weekend.
The movie’s opening-week stage greeting wrapped up to great enthusiasm. 'Monsta X: Connect X in Cinema' captures the group’s first full-group concert in three years, '2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X', showcasing the live performance, behind-the-scenes preparations, and exclusive interviews looking back on the group’s intense 10-year journey. The film has drawn strong global reactions, opening in more than 50 countries including Korea.
During the greeting, Shownu shared, “It feels different to meet you in a movie theater like this. I hope the film conveyed the energy of the live performance, and I hope you enjoy your time here,” expressing gratitude to the Monbebe who attended.
Minhyuk added, “We were able to release a second movie thanks to Monbebe. We worked very hard on preparing the VCR segments for the film, so I hope you pay close attention to those.”
Kihyun remarked, “I watched the movie early at the premiere, and the sound quality was excellent. It was fun noticing the tiny details we couldn’t hear during the actual concert.”
Hyungwon expressed his excitement at meeting fans again, saying, “Thank you for coming despite the cold weather. I hope you take home enough energy to melt the chill away. I hope this movie helps you relive the memories of the concert.”
Joohoney commented, “I really enjoyed watching the film from Monbebe’s perspective. The sense of presence was so vivid. Since there are SCREENX and 4DX screenings as well, I hope you try watching in different formats.”

Meanwhile, special theater events for 'Monsta X: Connect X in Cinema' will continue into its second week. Audience members who watch the film during week two will receive, on a first-come, first-served basis, a random postcard featuring MONSTA X’s handwritten letters from the concert and unreleased stills.
Additionally, on December 13 (Sat) and 14 (Sun), CGV Wangsimni, Yeongdeungpo Times Square, Yongsan I’Park Mall, Centum City, and Daegu will host the 'Monbebe Encore Dance Screening,' offering another chance for fans who missed the opening-week sing-along screening.
