SBS’s upcoming drama 'No Tail to Tell' has unveiled its second teaser, hinting at a dramatic shift in fate for its two leads and raising anticipation for the fantasy romance.
'No Tail to Tell' stars Kim Hye Yoon as Eun Ho, a quirky Gen Z gumiho (a magical nine-tailed fox) who is determined not to become human, and Lomon (Park Solomon) as Kang Si Yeol, an overly confident world-class soccer player. The drama follows the turbulent journey of the two as their destinies collide and they attempt to save one another.
Eun Ho is an eccentric fox spirit who avoids even the smallest good deeds for fear of accidentally becoming human, while also refraining from major misdeeds so she will not lose the thousand years of spiritual power she has accumulated. Kang Si Yeol is a global football superstar who may be arrogant but is never lazy. As a renowned striker for a prestigious overseas club, his fame often overshadows his team.
The newly released second teaser hints at ominous changes sweeping through both Eun Ho’s life as a fox spirit and Kang Si Yeol’s human world. Eun Ho, who adamantly refuses to become human, and Kang Si Yeol, a narcissistic global sports star who once scoffed at wishes, become mysteriously entangled by a single “wish.” Eun Ho’s cryptic line, “Didn’t I tell you? I decide how it’s done,” stands in stark contrast to Kang Si Yeol’s earlier dismissal of fate.
The teaser then flips their positions, showing Kang Si Yeol venting his frustration from inside a holding cell while Eun Ho watches him with an unreadable smile, signaling a dramatic reversal in their circumstances.
Accompanied by the phrase, “The moment everything changed, fate became twisted once again,” the second teaser also introduces an unexpected cohabitation, suggesting that their intertwined destinies will force them into a shared life. Questions are raised about why a gumiho who pursued wealth over virtue and a young, wealthy sports star are suddenly living in such modest and mismatched circumstances. The teaser concludes with Eun Ho’s shocked confession, “This is because of you! I’m now a human!”
The second teaser promises a witty, fate-driven romance filled with supernatural chaos, setting the stage for 'No Tail to Tell' to deliver a fresh and playful take on the gumiho fantasy genre.
