MBC’s popular variety program 'Point of Omniscient Interfere' will air its 378th episode on December 27, featuring the return of Lee Young Ja’s much talked-about Yumi’s Pub.
After first opening the casual pub in October, Lee Young Ja drew major attention with her creative menu, including green onion tteokbokki, green onion kimchi, and pork belly scallion pancakes, sparking what fans called a nationwide “green onion syndrome.” This time, she raises expectations even higher by teasing a special episode centered on winter seasonal ingredients.
The main ingredients at Yumi’s Pub come from Gangwon Province, including Punchbowl siraegi (dried radish greens) from Yanggu and Yongdaeri hwangtae (dried pollack). In addition, a variety of premium seasonal ingredients are introduced, such as gamtae seaweed harvested from the clean waters off the coast of Taean and chewy patterned squid, promising a true feast of winter flavors.
Ahead of opening, Lee Young Ja delivers an all-time legendary mukbang with Pung ja and “Mukbang Sister.” Dishes like gamtae ramyeon made with patterned squid broth and blanched patterned squid are revealed as part of a lavish staff meal, stimulating viewers’ appetites.
Guests at Yumi’s Pub are treated to a special “siraegi tteokbokki” made with seasonal dried radish greens. From the tteokbokki broth to the gochujang and fish cakes, every detail reflects Lee Young Ja’s culinary expertise. The pub-exclusive dish reportedly wins over everyone from children to adults, with diners cleaning their plates and expressing amazement.
Adding to the excitement, top-tier guests make a surprise visit to Yumi’s Pub. Actors Hyun Bin, Jung Woo Sung, Roh Jae Won, Park Yong Woo, and Kang Gil Woo drop by, reacting with nonstop admiration to the seasonal spread prepared by Lee Young Ja. Viewers are especially looking forward to the chemistry between Jung Woo Sung and Lee Young Ja, who reunite for the third time on 'Point of Omniscient Interfere.'
The episode is set to deliver a delightful blend of star-studded appearances, seasonal cuisine, and Lee Young Ja’s unmistakable charm.
