MBC’s new Friday–Saturday drama 'Judge Lee Han Young' (written by Kim Kwang Min, directed by Lee Jae Jin and Park Mi Yeon) released three main posters on December 5, signaling an intense showdown between good and evil.
Based on the popular web novel of the same name, the series follows corrupt judge Lee Han Young (Ji Sung), who returns to the past ten years earlier and begins a quest to punish a colossal evil force. Determined to pursue justice, he soon finds himself confronted by Judge Kang Shin Jin (Park Hee Soon), a figure who stands at the pinnacle of darkness. Undeterred, Lee Han Young joins forces with prosecutor Kim Jin Ah (Won Jin Ah) to fight for justice.
The newly revealed posters capture the stark confrontation between Lee Han Young and Kang Shin Jin, highlighting a dramatic contrast of black and white. Their opposing gazes hint at an inevitable collision of values.
Another poster features Lee Han Young and Kim Jin Ah dressed in bright tones, subtly signaling their roles as righteous characters. In contrast, Kang Shin Jin appears in a black suit, exuding a chilling aura befitting his villainous presence.
A solo poster of Lee Han Young leaves a strong impression as well. Wearing his judicial robes, he displays a confident expression beneath the bold tagline “I promise a fitting punishment,” heightening curiosity about the drama’s moral reckoning.
'Judge Lee Han Young' is scheduled to premiere on January 2 at 9:40 p.m. next year.
