Previously on December 4 KST, BTS's Jungkook (29) and aespa's Winter became wrapped up in dating rumors after a fan pointed out their "matching tattoos".
Based on recent photos of the two idols, both Jungkook and Winter seem to have tattoos of 3 puppy faces on the backs of their arms - Jungkook on his left and Winter on her right.
When contacted by media outlets for comments on the ongoing rumors, a representative of Big Hit Music said, "We are checking on the matter," while SM Entertainment curtly stated, "We have no statement at this time."
In the past, when Jungkook became embroiled in dating rumors with actress Lee Yoo Bi in 2021, Big Hit Music officially denied the rumors. Similarly, SM Entertainment also denied dating rumors between Winter and ENHYPEN's Jungwon as "false" in 2024.
Yet, a day after the dating rumors made headlines this time around, neither agency has responded in denial. Some fans are interpreting the silences of the two management companies to mean the affirmative.
Meanwhile, it's also rumored that Jungkook recently visited Japan around the same time as aespa during their tour, being photographed by surprised aespa "homemasters".
