It has been reported that a court has accepted a provisional seizure request on real estate filed by the former managers of broadcaster Park Na Rae.
According to reports on December 29th KST, the court approved a provisional seizure of real estate worth approximately 100 million won, as requested by two of Park Na Rae’s former managers.
Previously, the former managers filed the application on December 3rd, alleging workplace abuse, special injury, proxy prescription, and unpaid production expenses against Park Na Rae. The court has now accepted the request.
Attorney Koo Ja Ryong explained during a broadcast, “Even if a ruling is made, it does not mean the money is immediately paid. A provisional seizure is a procedure used to freeze the other party’s assets in advance.”
Regarding the fact that Park Na Rae established a mortgage of 4.9 billion won on her single-family home on the same day the seizure request was filed, Koo analyzed, “This suggests that Park Na Rae may have anticipated the court’s approval. While she is now refuting the claims as false, it appears she was preparing for the possibility that the application would be granted.”
He continued, “Since a person knows best what they have done, it is possible that Park Na Rae herself sensed that the court might side with the managers to a significant extent.”
Meanwhile, in the aftermath of the controversy, Park Na Rae has stepped down from 'I Live Alone', 'Where Is My Home?', and 'Amazing Saturday', and has currently suspended all activities.
