
Chef Jeong Ji Sun has tearfully shared her family’s hardships.
On the afternoon of November 20 KST at the '2025 KBS Entertainment Awards,' chef Jeong Ji Sun delivered a heartfelt message of support for her twin sibling, who is currently battling a brain tumor.
The awards ceremony was hosted by singer Lee Chan Won, actress Lee Min Jung, and comedian Moon Se Yoon as the three MCs. Numerous KBS variety programs and cast members who brought laughter and heartfelt moments to viewers throughout the year were in attendance.
During the Popularity Award presentation segment, Kim Jae Joong from 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' and Kim Jae Won from 'Heart on the Wheels' appeared as presenters, entertaining the audience with their witty banter.
After intense competition, the Popularity Award was jointly awarded to Forestella from 'Immortal Songs' and chef Jeong Ji Sun from 'Boss in the Mirror.'
In her acceptance speech, Jeong Ji Sun expressed her gratitude, saying, "'Boss in the Mirror' was a precious opportunity that allowed me to introduce myself as a chef to many people." She added, "Chef Lee Yeon Bok, who helped me enter the broadcasting industry, is also here today, and he proudly introduced me as a fellow chef," expressing her appreciation for her mentor.

She then continued, "A week ago, my twin sibling was diagnosed with a brain tumor. They are having a very hard time right now, but I told them, 'You can beat this, so let’s stay strong and do our best,'" delivering a warm message of encouragement that left the venue in solemn silence.
Forestella, who shared the Popularity Award, also shared their thoughts, saying, "We will continue to do our best to become artists who live up to the reputation of the program."
Meanwhile, for the Grand Prize, the highest honor at the '2025 KBS Entertainment Awards,' Kim Sook, Kim Jong Min, Lee Chan Won, Jun Hyun Moo, Park Bo Gum, Kim Young Hee, and Boom were nominated, setting the stage for fierce competition.
Jun Hyun Moo especially made headlines for his speech during his acceptance of the night's Daesang, as he confessed that the year had been difficult and that he is currently going through challenging times due to his father’s illness. Kim Jae Joong also delivered a moving speech as he accepted his first-ever entertainment award 22 years after debut.
