WayV has just made an unexpected announcement regarding their current activities.
In light of the recent Hong Kong apartment fires, which left at least 50 people dead and hundreds still missing, WayV has decided to postpone their upcoming album release. Originally scheduled for release on November 28, WayV’s winter special album ‘Eternal White’ will now be released on December 1.
In addition, WayV has announced their significant donation to the Hong Kong Red Cross, in an effort to help victims of the fires. WayV has now donated $250,000 HKD (around $32,138 USD) to the Hong Kong Red Cross, stating that they wanted to do what they could to help those affected by the tragedy.
Here is WayV's full official statement:
“Hello everyone, this is WayV.

To do our small part, we have decided to donate HK$250,000 to the Hong Kong Red Cross in the name of WayV, to express our deepest condolences to the victims of this fire, our sincere sympathy to all affected families, and our highest respect to every rescue hero.
