Kang Sung Hoon, a former member of Sechskies, is joining forces with Lehee (Kang Rae Hee), who has been active in the Japanese music scene, to form a new sibling duo called Gangnammae.
Gangnammae, composed of Kang Sung Hoon and Lehee, will release their new digital single "JAEMINA" at midnight on November 15 across global music streaming platforms. The single is a collaboration with Japanese DJ GINTA.
The release includes two tracks, the title track "JAEMINA" and the B-side "JUMPIN."
The title track "JAEMINA" is built on an addictive EDM groove and dynamic dance beat. Featuring a hook that blends Japanese and Korean lyrics, the track stands out with its cross-cultural composition aimed at expanding its appeal beyond language barriers.
The accompanying track "JUMPIN" delivers a high-intensity experience rooted in the hardstyle genre. Its powerful K-pop-influenced kicks and fast-paced structure evoke the atmosphere of a festival stage. Alternating Japanese and Korean rap and chorus sections further elevate the song’s energy and momentum.
