NCT Dream has officially joined the ranks of ten-time consecutive million sellers.
The group released its sixth mini album, 'Beat It Up,' on November 17, and according to Hanteo Chart’s weekly album rankings, the record sold more than 1.08 million copies.
With this, NCT Dream has now achieved million-seller status with ten albums in a row. Beginning with their 2021 full-length release 'Hot Sauce,' the group has continued to deliver hit studio albums and mini-albums alike.
'Beat It Up' explores the concept of time and captures the group’s journey from past to present. The mini album features six tracks, including the title track of the same name.
International media outlets have responded positively. UK outlet The Clash praised the release as “a highly polished project that flawlessly captures what they do best,” adding that the group’s “musical strengths shine clearly.”
US magazine Euphoria also wrote, “By the time you get through the six tracks, you’ll find yourself chanting its powerful hooks, while the emotional ballads naturally draw you in.”
NCT Dream is also performing strongly on global charts. 'Beat It Up' debuted at No. 1 on China’s QQ Music digital album sales chart and topped Japan’s AWA real-time chart.
