On November 7 KST, musical actor Kim Jun Young responded to the allegations that he visited an adult entertainment establishment.
Previously, netizens spotted a photo of a receipt in one of Kim Jun Young's SNS posts. The receipt showed the name of a woman in the purchased products list along with the price paid. Based on the photo, some netizens speculated that Kim Jun Young had purchased services at an adult entertainment establishment.
Responding to the accusations in a hand-written letter, Kim Jun Young confessed, "I would like to sincerely apologize for hurting and disappointing many people through recent events. Questions of lawbreaking aside, I admit that my actions were inappropriate. I am fully guilty and responsible, and there are no excuses to be made."
The musical actor continued, "I have terminated my exclusive contract with my agency and have dropped out of all scheduled projects. Yet, I know that I cannot simply erase the pain and the disappointment that I caused. I will live the rest of my life with this burden in mind as I reflect on my mistakes."
Following the above, Kim Jun Young has pulled out of the musical 'Rachmaninoff' and the play 'Amadeus'.
