LE SSERAFIM’s agency SOURCE MUSIC has taken a firm stance against malicious commenters, announcing ongoing and intensified legal action.
On November 14, SOURCE MUSIC released a statement on the global fandom platform Weverse titled 'Notice on Legal Proceedings Regarding Violations of Artist Rights.'
The agency stated that it is actively responding to malicious slander, defamation, and the spread of false information through a real-time monitoring system and HYBE’s dedicated artist protection reporting channels.
According to the agency, anonymous posts and comments are not exempt from legal responsibility, emphasizing that criminal penalties for offenders are already being enforced. Several individuals behind malicious posts have faced legal consequences, and additional complaints are currently underway. SOURCE MUSIC confirmed that it has submitted evidence and detailed the damages incurred.
The agency issued a stern warning to those engaging in defamatory behavior, stressing that “spreading rumors or presenting unverified claims as facts is a clear illegal act.”
Reaffirming its zero-tolerance policy, SOURCE MUSIC stated: “We will continue to pursue criminal charges to ensure appropriate punishment, with no settlements or leniency.”
The agency also urged fans to continue reporting harmful content, expressing gratitude for their support: “Your reports play a significant role in protecting the artists and strengthening our legal response. We sincerely thank you.”
SOURCE MUSIC concluded the notice by promising ongoing dedication to safeguarding its artists: “Thank you for your trust and support. We will continue to prioritize the protection of our artists’ rights.”
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM is set to hold their 'EASY CRAZY HOT' encore concerts at the Tokyo Dome on November 18–19.
