Yong Junhyung has announced the termination of his exclusive contract with his agency following an ongoing dispute, and revealed plans to continue his career independently.
On March 30, Yong Junhyung shared a statement via social media, saying, “Regarding my exclusive contract, I have repeatedly requested corrections over a long period due to the agency’s failure to fulfill key contractual obligations.”
He continued, “However, the issues were not resolved for years, and I concluded that it was no longer possible to maintain a relationship of trust.”
He added that as of March 12, 2026, he had officially notified the agency of the contract termination in accordance with relevant laws, and has yet to receive a response.
“I believe the contract has been legally terminated, and I plan to continue my activities independently going forward,” he stated.
The situation follows Yong Junhyung’s previous revelations in June last year regarding conflict with his agency, Black Made. At the time, he claimed the company had abruptly suggested terminating the contract without conditions, only to later reverse its stance and demand that he leave the company. He also alleged that he was asked to cover investment funds and company-assessed losses tied to a distributor he had never agreed to.
Meanwhile, Yong Junhyung married singer HyunA in October 2024.
