Chuu is raising anticipation as she prepares to demonstrate clear artistic growth with her first full-length solo album.
On November 20, her agency ATRP announced that Chuu is “currently preparing her first solo studio album since debut, with a release targeted for January of next year.”
The upcoming record is expected to introduce a new side of Chuu, expanding beyond her trademark bright and lovable image. According to the agency, the album will offer a broader musical spectrum and deeper emotional nuance.
Since launching her solo career with her first mini album 'Howl' in 2021, Chuu has continued to build her identity as a solo artist with releases such as 'Strawberry Rush' and 'Only Cry in the Rain.' Her third mini album, released in April, drew particular praise for its mature emotional depth and refined interpretation, underscoring her evolution as an artist.
Ahead of the new album’s release, Chuu will hold her second solo fan concert, 'CHUU 2ND TINY-CON: When the First Snow Falls, Let’s Meet There,' on December 13 and 14 at the Shinhan Card SOL Pay Square Live Hall, offering fans a special opportunity to connect with her.
