Han from Stray Kids is taking on his first solo OST since his debut.
On October 23, tvN's 'Typhoon Family' production team announced, "OST Part 3, Han's 'Updraft' will be released on major music platforms on October 26."
"Updraft" is the drama's third OST track and is an alternative rock song, featuring punchy drums and guitar sounds. This marks Han's first solo OST track and is expected to deliver powerful vocal performances complemented by a grand choir sound that vividly conveys the struggle to move against the updraft.
With daing and ambitious lyrics, the song provides a thrilling sense of catharsis, reflected in the drama's message. Han aims to carry the drama's momentum forward with his intense musical energy.
Meanwhile, 'Typhoon Family' is set during the 1997 IMF crisis, portraying the struggles and growth of rookie manager Kang Tae Poong (played by Lee Jun Ho), who unexpectedly becomes the head of a trading company with no staff, no money, and nothing to sell.
The drama premiered as the number one Saturday-Sunday series on tvN, earning acclaim for its ability to turn the gloomy reality of the IMF era into an entertaining story that captivates viewers.
'Typhoon Family' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 PM. Han’s OST, "Updraft," will be officially released at 6 PM on the 26th, just ahead of the broadcast of episode 6.
