BLACKPINK's Rosé has been named a recipient of the Presidential Citation.
On October 23, Rosé received the Presidential Citation at the 16th Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards, held at the Haerum Theater of the National Theater of Korea, in recognition of her contributions to the development of popular culture.
She dominated global charts with her single 'APT' released in October last year, holding the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Global 200 for 12 consecutive weeks and reaching No. 2 on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100.
Her first full-length album, 'ROSIE,' released last December, also reaped immense success, debuting at No. 3 on Billboard's main album chart, The Billboard 200, and remaining on the chart for 27 consecutive weeks.

With these achievements, Rosé set new records as the highest-ranking and longest-charting K-pop female artist. She also showcased her musical talent by participating in the writing and composition of every track on her full album.
Meanwhile, the Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards is the government’s most prestigious honor in the field, recognizing the efforts of artists and professionals who have contributed to the advancement of popular culture.
Currently, Rosé is on BLACKPINK's 'DEADLINE' world tour and is performing at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
