Red Velvet's Joy has successfully held her first solo fan meeting event.
On October 3, Joy held her fan meeting 'Unmelting Our Green' at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Marking her first-ever solo fan meeting event since her debut, Joy has sparked immense excitement among global fans.
Joy opened the event by performing "Scent Of Green," a track from her first mini album. Explaining the title of the fan meeting, she shared, “I wanted to express my hope that the moments we’ve created together will never fade in color, and will remain forever as an unmelting shade of green.” Fans also matched the green dress code, filling the venue with a lively and refreshing atmosphere.
During the show, Joy shared moments and looked back on her journey from Red Velvet's debut to her solo debut, reflecting on the most beautiful moments of her youth. She also performed short renditions of BoA's "Atlantis Princess," her own OST "Shiny Boy," "Lady in the Rainy Night," "Introduce me a good person," and Red Velvet's "You Better Know." She also performed Hikaru Utada's "Automatic" to express her current self.
She also read stories from her fans, sending warm words of comfort and encouragement to each one. She then treated fans to unforgettable live performances, performing "Day By Day" from her special album as well as "Unwritten Page," and "Get Up And Dance" from her first mini album.
The fan meeting also featured a mood film set to her new song "Cuddle," and a heartfelt video letter written by Joy herself. In another segment, fans passionately debated which animal resembled Joy the most, followed by a “Wish Granting” corner where she performed "Pretty Please" by Hearts2Hearts, "To Reach You," by 10CM, and the "Don’t Do That" challenge by Leellamarz, showcasing her unique charm.
Toward the end of the event, Joy expressed, “The memories we’ve built together are always alive in my heart, and I think each moment has come together to form such a beautiful kind of love. I hope the time we shared today will stay in your hearts for a long time.”
For the encore, Joy sang "Hello" and "Be There For You," and at fans’ request for another encore performance, she treated them to "La Vie En Bleu," "You Better Know," and "Get Up And Dance" once more, closing the memorable night.
