Band LUCY has captured both eyes and ears with powerful music and compelling storytelling.

On October 28th KST, LUCY unveiled the music video teaser for “Love, Whatever” (Korean title: 사랑은 어쩌고), one of the double title tracks from their 7th mini album 'Sun,' through their official YouTube channel.

The teaser opens with a striking contrast of burning instruments and a shattering grand piano, evoking an intense sense of tension. It then transitions to calm, heartwarming scenes of three people laughing and spending time together in a cozy hideout — only for that serenity to crack in the final moment when a figure holding a baseball bat appears. The 30-second clip intertwines peace and unease, heightening curiosity for the full music video.

The video was directed by 815 VIDEO, a production team that has previously collaborated with global K-pop artists such as BLACKPINK, TWICE, and IU, ensuring high production quality. The team’s meticulous visual style and emotional direction translate “Love, Whatever”’s lyrical band sound into rich, cinematic storytelling, further deepening LUCY’s signature emotional universe.

“Love, Whatever” blends LUCY’s emotional band sound with soft harmonies and vocalist Choi Sangyeop’s refreshing tone, creating a strong sense of immersion. The build-up toward the song’s climax mirrors the narrator’s overwhelming realization of love. Member Cho Wonsang participated in writing, composing, and arranging the song, expressing the enduring nature of love from different perspectives through LUCY’s warm musical sensibility.

LUCY’s 7th mini album “Sun” portrays the many undefinable forms of love through the band’s unique perspective. The album includes four tracks — the double title songs “Urgent (Feat. Wonstein)” and “Love, Whatever,” along with “EIO” and “Eternal Love.” Members Cho Wonsang and Shin Yechan contributed to the album credits, showcasing their musical growth. Through this comeback, LUCY aims to present a richer narrative that captures love’s duality through evocative music and visuals.

Meanwhile, ahead of their comeback, LUCY has been active on various stages, including the '2025 Grand Mint Festival' and '2025 Oxfam Super Live,' cementing their status as one of the most sought-after live bands. Notably, during their special performance at MBC’s 'University Song Festival – Light Up Youth' on October 26th, LUCY performed “To You” (그대에게) alongside the late Shin Hae Chul’s children, moving audiences deeply. The performance surpassed 2 million views within a day of release, receiving enthusiastic praise from music fans.
