
Singer Nam Woohyun has revealed a bold and stunning transformation in female attire.
On October 27th KST, the production company PR Company unveiled Nam Woohyun’s concept profile for the musical “Sugar,” followed by a character video release on the 29th.
The released images immediately drew attention, featuring Nam Woohyun in a sleek suit against a dark backdrop. His sophisticated visuals, paired with a hairstyle that exposes his forehead and an intense, direct gaze, captivated global fans.
In another photo, Nam Woohyun fully transforms into “Jo (Josephine),” his cross-dressed character, shocking fans with his flawless synchronization to the role. Wearing a short wig, bold makeup, and glamorous accessories, he exuded an irresistible and elegant charm that left viewers amazed.
The accompanying character video further showcased both sides of Josephine with impressive realism. Through his charismatic eyes and graceful movements, Nam Woohyun perfectly portrayed the contrasting charms of the character, heightening anticipation for the musical.
'Sugar' is based on the globally beloved classic comedy film 'Some Like It Hot.' Set during the Prohibition era in 1929, the story humorously follows two jazz musicians who disguise themselves as women and join an all-female band after accidentally witnessing a gang murder.
In the musical, Nam Woohyun plays Joe (Josephine), a romantic saxophonist who cross-dresses in a desperate bid to stay alive.
Nam Woohyun’s musical 'Sugar' will run from December 12, 2025, to February 22, 2026, at the KEPCO Art Center Grand Theater in Seoul.
