Despite actor Lee Yi Kyung being embroiled in controversy over alleged private life rumors, the variety show ‘I Am Solo’ will air as planned.
On September 21, a representative from the production team told MK Sports, “We currently have no additional comment regarding Lee Yi Kyung’s situation or his participation. Tomorrow’s (September 22) episode will be broadcast as scheduled.”
The controversy began when an individual identifying as a German national posted online, claiming to have been harmed by Lee Yi Kyung and sharing screenshots of alleged direct messages and chat logs. Although the original blog post has since been deleted, the claims have spread across social media.
In response, Lee Yi Kyung’s agency, Sangyoung ENT, released an official statement, saying, “We are preparing legal action regarding the spread of false information and malicious rumors circulating online and through social media.”
