Actor Lee Byung Hun showcases his signature charisma in a newly released pictorial.
On October 15, fashion magazine WWD Korea unveiled its November issue cover featuring Lee Byung Hun.

Under the theme “The weight and grace shaped by time,” the pictorial captures Lee’s refined elegance and calm confidence, highlighting his irreplaceable presence as one of Korea’s most distinguished actors.

In the accompanying interview, Lee reflected honestly on his 35-year acting career and his outlook on life. “Whether things are going well or not, I always tell myself, ‘It’s okay right now,’” he shared. “I believe a person becomes stronger when they learn how to let go.” He added, “Dignity isn’t something you display — it’s the balance and ease that come from being true to yourself,” revealing his thoughtful philosophy.
Lee also spoke about his upcoming film ‘No Other Choice’, saying, “Through this project, I wanted to explore the irony of how the systems and institutions created by humans can strip away humanity itself.” On working with director Park Chan Wook for the first time, he commented, “It truly feels like I’ve fulfilled my wish to appear in a Park Chan Wook film.” Referring to the memorable “tooth-pulling scene” of his character Mansoo, he described it as “a paradoxical moment where collapse and liberation, despair and freedom coexist,” expressing deep affection for the role.
When asked about the values he hopes to pass on to his child, Lee chose “innocence.” He said, “Everyone has a 10-year-old child within them. Preserving that innocence is the most enduring value.” He also shared his reflections on the finiteness of time, saying, “As I grow older, I feel more keenly that time is limited. Rather than trying to control everything, I’ve learned that letting things flow naturally makes me stronger.”
