On October 17, a new episode featuring Hwa Sa was released on the YouTube channel moonbyul2da, hosted by MAMAMOO member Moon Byul.
During their conversation, Moon Byul candidly shared, “After taking a long break, I started eating a lot. Since I wasn’t moving much or dancing, my weight went over 50kg.” Hwa Sa laughed and replied, “Even when I move that much, I still weigh around 50kg.”
Moon Byul went on to say that she managed to lose weight and return to 45kg, to which Hwa Sa cheerfully responded, “That’s not much different from me.” Moon Byul then looked at Hwa Sa and commented, “You have lost so much weight recently. What happened?”
Hwa Sa explained, “I changed my workout routine for my comeback. My performance style is usually very intense, from the first song to the last. When I was at my slimmest, I couldn’t handle that kind of stage. But my new song has a more delicate and emotional feel. It tells the story of someone with a painful past, so I planned to shape a softer, more fragile image this time.” She added, “You know how emotional stress can make you lose weight. I think that’s part of it too.”
Hwa Sa admitted, “Yes, I did lose quite a lot,” acknowledging the noticeable change in her appearance.
Meanwhile, Hwa Sa released her new single album 'Good Goodbye' on October 15, marking her latest musical comeback.
