Global music icon G-DRAGON made history at the '2025 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix', drawing a record-breaking crowd of 65,000 fans during his headline performance at the Padang Stage on October 3 (local time).
Held at the iconic Marina Bay Street Circuit—the world’s first F1 night race—this year’s Grand Prix doubled as a massive music event, with G-DRAGON and Elton John named as co-headliners, igniting massive anticipation even before the festivities began.
Marking his first performance in Singapore in eight years since the ACT III, M.O.T.T.E World Tour in 2017, G-DRAGON’s return was met with explosive enthusiasm from local and international fans alike.
As the lights dimmed and G-DRAGON appeared on stage, fans erupted in chants of “Kwon Ji Yong.” He responded with an electrifying 90-minute set featuring new tracks like “PO₩ER,” “HOME SWEET HOME,” and “TOO BAD (feat. Anderson .Paak),” alongside iconic hits such as “Crayon,” “One of a Kind,” and “MichiGO.” The stage was a masterclass in showmanship, blending dynamic vocals with immersive visuals and powerful energy.
G-DRAGON also captivated audiences with three distinct outfit changes, each matching a different act of the performance:
- A high-end racing look adorned with Übermensch logos and bold patches, paired with leather pants and boots.
- A striking all-red suit, showcasing his visual dominance.
- A final look blending kitschy and dandy aesthetics, featuring checkerboard F1 motifs that heightened the theatrical flair of the show.
Following the show, fans flooded social media with praise, calling it “unforgettable,” “beyond expectations,” and “the most powerful live performance we’ve ever witnessed.”
Coinciding with his performance, Singapore is also hosting the ‘G-DRAGON Media Exhibition: Übermensch’, a high-tech interactive art installation produced by Galaxy Corporation and CreativeMUT. The exhibition, held at Changi Experience Studio in Jewel Changi Airport, has drawn massive crowds and rave reviews for its immersive digital experience.
This F1 concert was just one stop on G-DRAGON’s 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch], which has already spanned cities like Seoul, Tokyo, Macau, Sydney, Las Vegas, Paris, and more. The tour continues with upcoming stops in Osaka (Oct 20–21), Taipei, Hanoi, and a grand finale in Seoul this December—cementing G-DRAGON’s status as a true global force in both music and fashion.
