EXO member Chanyeol has officially completed his first solo Japan tour, captivating fans across four major cities with an emotional and energetic showcase of his musical journey.
The tour, titled “CHANYEOL JAPAN TOUR 2025 -The Days-”, kicked off on October 4 at NTK Hall in Aichi, followed by stops in Fukuoka (Oct 8), Osaka (Oct 10), and concluded on October 27 at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall in Kanagawa.
This live tour marked Chanyeol’s official debut in Japan and served as the launch event for his first Japanese mini album, “日 (Hibi)”, released on October 22. Centered around the theme of cherishing everyday moments, the album features six new tracks that blend emotional resonance with Chanyeol’s signature sound.
During the shows, Chanyeol performed the album’s title track “ずるいよ” (Zuruiyo) along with self-composed songs like “考えてみたら” (Kangaete Mitara), “Tokyo Tower”, “Cherry”, “UP TO YOU”, and “Trace”, all making their live stage debut.
The singer also thrilled fans with Japanese renditions of his Korean solo tracks, including “봄 여름 가을 겨울 (All Through the Seasons)”, and a medley of EXO’s Japanese hits such as:
- “BIRD”
- “Love Me Right Romantic Universe”
- “Drop That”
- “Electric Kiss”
Taking his musicality a step further, Chanyeol played guitar live on stage, showcasing tracks like “Black Out”, “Back Again”, “Upside Down”, and “Ocean Drive”, adding a rock-infused dimension to the concert’s atmosphere.
In several intimate moments, he walked into the audience, locking eyes with fans, sharing smiles, and even singing along with them — leaving concertgoers with lasting memories of warmth and connection.
Released just days before the tour finale, Chanyeol’s Japanese mini album “日 (Hibi)” has been well received. The project centers around themes of daily gratitude and quiet reflection, with tracks crafted to express both his growth as a solo artist and his sincerity toward fans.
Fans praised Chanyeol’s stage charisma, musical versatility, and language efforts, noting his clear dedication to engaging with Japanese audiences. Social media was filled with heartfelt messages such as:
“His vocals and guitar were beyond expectations.”
