The video quickly went viral, racking up 30 million views and 7.6 million likes within just 24 hours. It reached 10 million views with 3 million likes in 4 hours, 15 million views with 4.2 million likes in 7 hours, and 25 million views with 6.5 million likes in 13 hours, showcasing its explosive popularity.
TikTok Korea praised the post, commenting, “We almost didn’t recognize you after changing your profile picture, welcome back!” Meanwhile, CORTIS expressed disbelief and excitement: “We can’t believe this is real, it feels like a dream.” The official TikTok Korea X (formerly Twitter) account also welcomed him, tweeting, “BTS's Jungkook changed his TikTok profile picture and big things were waiting!”
