After retiring as the goddess of 'Blue Dragon', Kim Hye Soo to host the '2025 MAMA Awards'

Veteran actress Kim Hye Soo will host the '2025 MAMA Awards', stated media outlets on October 30 KST. 

The '2025 MAMA Awards' is scheduled to take place from November 28-29 at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong. Day 1 will be hosted by actor Park Bo Gum, and day 2 will be hosted by Kim Hye Soo.

This will be Kim Hye Soo's first time hosting a music award ceremony. The veteran actress was formerly known as the "goddess" of the historic 'Blue Dragon Film Awards', hosting the ceremony as its female MC for 30-years from 1993 until 2023. 

The theme of this year's '2025 MAMA Awards' is "UH-HEUNG", representing several meanings unique to Korean culture such as the roar of a tiger or vocables performed in music plays.
