ADOR has gained online attention by uploading photos and videos on NewJeans’ official social media accounts to celebrate the anniversary of the group’s fandom, “Bunnies.”
On October 29, ADOR shared a video on NewJeans’ official social media account with the caption “[Bunnies Day] Happy 3rd Bunnies Day.” The video showed characters symbolizing the fandom “Bunnies” heading off to meet the NewJeans members.
Another post followed, featuring an image of the Bunnies characters standing in front of a 3rd-anniversary cake alongside illustrated versions of the NewJeans members. Additionally, a short clip featuring the group’s signature bunny mascot appeared with the message “Happy Bunnies Day.”
The comments section was soon filled with fans expressing their longing for the members, with messages such as “I miss them so much,” “It’s not Bunnies Day without NewJeans,” “There’s no Bunnies Day without Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein,” and “Bring NewJeans back.”
In 2022, ADOR officially named NewJeans’ fandom “Bunnies” through a Weverse announcement marking the group’s 100th day since debut. The name “Bunnies” stands for “NewJeans’ Best Friends.”
Since their debut, NewJeans has incorporated the “bunny” motif as part of their group identity, making the fandom name a natural fit with their visual and conceptual world.
