The stars of K-dramas are set to gather in one place, celebrating this year's accomplishments. The APAN Star Awards are set to return this December.
According to the Korea Entertainment Management Association, on October 27, the '2025 Seoul Con APAN Star Awards' will take place on December 29 at Art Hall 1 of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul.
The APAN Star Awards are the only comprehensive drama awards ceremony in Korea, recognizing outstanding achievements across all platforms—including terrestrial, general, cable, OTT, and web dramas.
Now in its 11th year, the event was first launched in 2012 and has since expanded its reach to K-drama fans around the world. This year’s ceremony promises to deliver an even more spectacular and distinctive program.

The eligible works for this year’s awards include all dramas aired in Korea between November of last year and October of this year. Top artists representing the K-drama scene are expected to compete for honors.
Above all, the event emphasizes fairness. Directors, writers, journalists, and critics—experts from various fields—will participate as judges to uphold the ceremony’s credibility through cross-genre evaluations.
Past Grand Prize (Daesang) winners include Son Hyun Joo (2012), Song Hye Kyo (2013), Jo In Sung (2014), Kim Soo Hyun (2015), Song Joong Ki (2016 and 2022), Lee Byung Hun (2018), Hyun Bin (2020), and Lee Jun Ho (2023).
Last year, Kim Tae Ri took home the Grand Prize at the 2024 APAN Star Awards for her stellar performance in tvN’s 'Revenant.' Her acting was highly praised for seamlessly incorporating elements of sound, dance, and dialect.
Meanwhile, the '2025 Seoul Con APAN Star Awards' will be held on December 29 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, and will be broadcast through tvN.
