On the YouTube channel 'Jipdaeseong' on September 19, 2025 KST, the reunited members of Baby V.O.X spoke candidly ahead of concerts set for September 26–27, 2025 KST. There, Yoon Eun Hye directly discussed long-standing rumors that she had been ostracized within the group.
Asked about plans after the shows, Yoon Eun Hye noted that speculation often flares when four members promote without her. “We concluded that—even if it isn’t all five every time—we should think about ways to keep doing this happily over the long term,” she said.
Looking back on her early acting years, Yoon Eun Hye admitted she had deliberately distanced herself from her idol image. “While I was focusing on acting, I really tried to erase the singer image,” she said. “It wasn’t that I was avoiding the older members. I was ashamed of my clumsy, unprepared self back then. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to love that version of me too, and since fans also cherish those memories, I realized I don’t need to dislike my past self.”
Kim E Z, a fellow member of Baby V.O.X, backed her up, saying many singers who pivoted to acting at the time made similar choices. The members also revisited the group’s turbulent early reception. “These days there isn’t anyone cursing us out—no antis,” Kim E Z said with a laugh, while Shim Eun Jin recalled, “Back then, we were basically the icon of antis.” Kim E Z added that when they pulled up old music-show clips to relearn choreography, the crowd’s “Get lost!” chants sometimes drowned out the broadcast audio.
Context helped fuel past speculation. Last year, Yoon Eun Hye sat out full-group TV appearances on SBS 'Dolsing Fourmen' and Channel S 'Noldeon Unnie 2', prompting talk of discord; the members clarified that differing agency schedules meant only those available could appear. Kan Mi Yeon emphasized that they always tried to protect one another—especially during peak anti-fan years—and Yoon Eun Hye later joined a year-end stage with all five, effectively putting the rumors to rest.
