Actor Song Seung Heon has shared an emotional tribute to his late mother, expressing his love and longing in a heartfelt letter.
On September 24, Song posted on his social media: “Mom! You’ve worked so hard all this time. Now please rest peacefully in a place free of pain. I will wait and wait for the day we meet again, so I can hold you in my arms and say, ‘I love you, I’ve missed you so much.’ Mom, I love you. I love you so, so much.”
He ended his message with a touching line: “The most beautiful mom in the world. From your son, Seung Heon,” reflecting his deep devotion and love for his mother.
Alongside the letter, Song also shared photos of cherished memories with his mother as well as her urn, further evoking sympathy from fans and the public.
Song’s mother, Moon Myung Ok, passed away on September 21 at the age of 77. The funeral was held privately in accordance with the family’s wishes. During this time, Song canceled scheduled interviews for his upcoming Genie TV original series 'My Troublesome Star' to stay at the memorial hall with his older brother and sister, greeting mourners together.
