While QWER fans argue the design is inspired by the megaphone that member Siyeon frequently used during concerts, some fans of The Boyz claim it bears too close a resemblance to their group's iconic lightstick.
The controversy centers on the similarities and differences between the two designs. The Boyz’s lightstick features a megaphone shape with a heart-shaped cone, while QWER’s design opts for a circular one. Despite this distinction, many fans are debating whether QWER’s concept crosses the line into imitation.
