Rumors about BLACKPINK's Jennie having a new boyfriend are gaining attention online after international netizens claimed she is dating American actor and skateboarder Nico Hiraga.
According to posts circulating on social media, Jennie and Nico were allegedly spotted together in Vancouver, Canada. International users shared photos from 2024 and wrote, "Jennie with her friends and her boyfriend. In the second pic, she's sleeping in a hoodie, the same hoodie from the first photo. If you look closely, the guy next to her is shirtless and also sleeping." These users also pointed to a photo of Jennie and Nico posing together as further "evidence" of a relationship.
However, most Korean netizens are dismissing the speculation, arguing that the photos only show them as close friends, not a couple. One netizen also pointed out that BLACKPINK members often display public affection toward male friends, particularly if those friends are either gay or have a business relationship together.
