K-pop artist Kang Daniel revealed on September 23 KST that he had been the victim of theft during his ongoing North American tour.
“We got all our stuff stolen—outfits, hair and makeup tools, even MD goods,” Kang wrote on his official social media account. Alongside his message, he posted a photo with a thumbs-up, adding, “Still, let’s make it a great show. I’m okay.”
According to his agency Konnect Entertainment, the incident occurred on September 22 (local time) while traveling from Los Angeles to San Jose for his next show. Following his September 20 performance in L.A., a thief reportedly broke into a staff vehicle and stole concert-related items, including stage outfits, styling equipment, and merchandise.
Despite the setback, the team quickly took action. The staff purchased replacement items from a nearby shopping mall to ensure that the San Jose performance could proceed without disruption.
Currently, Kang Daniel is in the middle of his North American tour, which kicked off on September 3 and includes stops in Washington, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and a total of 12 cities.
Fans have praised the artist’s professionalism and positive attitude in the face of adversity, applauding him for continuing to deliver his best on stage.
