
Girl group IVE has topped K-Pop idol group brand value rankings for the month of September, dethroning the brand powerhouse BLACKPINK.
From August 18 through September 18 KST, the Korea Brand Reputation Index analyzed big data of currently promoting K-Pop idol groups to evaluate consumers' interactions, media engagement, levels of communication, etc.
Hopping up 2 spots from their August rank to the very top of the list, IVE earned a total of 5,494,386 brand value points for the month of September, demonstrating the group's expanding brand power domestically. The girl group successfully released their 4th mini album, 'IVE SECRET', on August 25 KST, conquering numerous domestic music charts with their title track, "XOXZ".
After reigning at the top from July through August, BLACKPINK climbed down to 2nd place for the month of September, earning a total of 4,813,295 points. Boy group BTS followed closely behind in 3rd place with 4,275,545 points.
The top 30 K-Pop idol groups in terms of brand value rankings for this month are: IVE, BLACKPINK, BTS, Seventeen, Stray Kids, Red Velvet, TWICE, Big Bang, ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, aespa, EXO, SHINee, ILLIT, MONSTA X, ENHYPEN, Oh My Girl, izna, Super Junior, KiiiKiii, TREASURE, BTOB, ASTRO, Wanna One, The Boyz, fromis_9, WINNER, LE SSERAFIM, H1-KEY, and NCT.
