Lee Jae Wook & Shin Ye Eun to recount a love story between a doctor and a nurse in new Genie TV series

Actors Lee Jae Wook and Shin Ye Eun have been cast as the leads of a new Genie TV original series.

Based on a popular webtoon series, the drama follows the story of a primary care doctor and a nurse who run a small clinic on an isolated island. 

Lee Jae Wook will take on the role of Do Ji Eui, a primary care doctor who harbors a traumatic relationship with islands and the ocean. But when he's sent to a small clinic on a faraway island, he learns what it means to be a true doctor. 

Shin Ye Eun will play the role of a nurse devoted to caring for her patients, Yook Ha Ri. Despite her kindness, she also hides a secret. 

The drama will be directed by Lee Myung Woo of 'Boyhood' and will air on ENA in 2026.
