HUNTR/X from 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' is set to deliver a live performance on 'The Tonight Show.'
On September 29, 'The Tonight Show' announced on social media, "Next month on the 7th, EJae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami will join for an interview and the first live performance of Golden." All three are voice actors for HUNTR/X tracks.
The program also shared a teaser video featuring 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' mascot characters Duffy and Sussie. In the clip, they handed host Jimmy Fallon a glowing blue invitation.
The invitation read: "K-pop Demon Hunters, October 7." The moment Fallon saw it, he excitedly ran out of his dressing room—accidentally knocking over a trash can in the process.
Duffy and Sussie reappeared afterward. In the show’s storyline, Duffy has a quirk of being unable to resist fixing anything that has fallen. True to character, his eyes sparkled at the sight of the overturned trash can.
Meanwhile, 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' is a Netflix original animation that blends K-pop, Korean traditional culture, and fantasy action. It has gained massive worldwide popularity, topping Netflix’s all-time global viewership rankings in the Film & Show category.
The OSTs have also been dominating the Billboard charts, with "Golden" spending seven consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and maintaining the top spot on the Streaming Songs chart for 10 straight weeks.
