Seventeen's new special unit S.Coups x Mingyu has performed exceptionally well on various music charts.
S.Coups x Mingyu released their first mini-album, 'HYPE VIBES,' on the 29th. According to the Hanteo Chart, the new album sold 600,575 copies on its release day.
They went straight to number one on the daily album chart. This is an unusual achievement for a unit group. By becoming a half-million seller immediately after the album's release, they have proven their remarkable album power.
Their global performance is also noteworthy. 'HYPE VIBES' swept the No. 1 spot on iTunes' 'Top Album' chart in a total of 11 countries/regions. It also ranked 6th on the Worldwide Album Chart.
They also captivated listeners in the Greater China region. They earned a Double Gold Certification on China's largest music platform, QQ Music. This is an honor granted upon achieving 500,000 yuan in sales.
The popularity of the title track, "5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman)," is also soaring. Immediately after its release, it hit No. 1 on the Bugs real-time chart. All tracks from the album charted on Melon's 'Top 100.'
The song entered the charts on iTunes' 'Top Song' chart in 16 countries/regions, including Spain, Indonesia, and Egypt. It also made it onto Japan's Line Music 'Song Top 100.'
The music video also garnered attention. The "5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman)" music video topped the 'YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide' chart, including in countries like South Korea, Germany, Canada, and Indonesia.
Meanwhile, S.Coups X Mingyu will perform their new song live for the first time on Mnet's 'M Countdown' on October 2.
