Netflix series 'Chicken Nugget' (written and directed by Lee Byeong Heon) has been nominated for an International Emmy Award.
The International Emmy Awards recently revealed the list of nominees for the 2025 awards on its official website. 'Chicken Nugget' was nominated in the Comedy category.
The drama is adapted from a webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of a father’s struggle to rescue his daughter, who mysteriously turned into a chicken nugget after entering a strange machine.
'Chicken Nugget' will be competing for the trophy against France’s 'Iris,' the UK’s 'Ludwig,' and Mexico’s 'Y Llegaron de Noche.'
The winners will be announced at the International Emmy Awards ceremony in New York on November 24. Ahead of the event, from the 22nd to the 24th, nominees and creators will gather for related activities.
The International Emmy Awards are considered one of the world’s three major television awards and are separate from the Primetime Emmy Awards. In 2022, 'The King’s Affection' became the first Korean drama to win the honor.
