BLACKPINK’s digital single "JUMP" has surpassed 300 million streams on the world’s largest music platform, Spotify, according to their agency YG Entertainment on September 30th KST.
The milestone was achieved just 80 days after the song’s release on July 11th, marking the group’s 19th song to reach 300 million streams and setting the record for the fastest achievement among K-pop girl groups.
"JUMP" delivers a powerful beat and addictive chorus, representing a transformation from BLACKPINK’s previous musical style. With a guitar riff reminiscent of Western films and each member’s distinctive vocals layered throughout, the track captures listeners’ attention.
Upon release, it immediately topped the Spotify weekly chart, earning BLACKPINK the record for the most No.1 songs held by a K-pop girl group.
Even two months after its release, the song continues to dominate the charts, maintaining a position in the top rankings for 11 consecutive weeks.
"JUMP" has also maintained popularity beyond Spotify, performing strongly on U.S. Billboard charts. The song set a personal record for the longest run on the 'Hot 100', appearing for 10 consecutive weeks, and held its place on both the 'Global 200' and 'Global (excluding U.S.)' charts for the same period.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently conducting their world tour 'DEADLINE', visiting 16 cities worldwide.
