
Former Wanna One and CIX member Bae Jin Young has officially announced his solo debut, coming up on October 14 KST.
The K-Pop star will be going solo approximately 8 years after his debut in the project group Wanna One and a little over a year after his departure from CIX.
Following the conclusion of his exclusive contract with C9 Entertainment in August of last year, Bae Jin Young joined AURA Entertainment shortly afterward in December. AURA Entertainment is home to JeA of Brown Eyed Girls and former VICTON member Han Seungwoo.
Meanwhile, during a recent appearance on a YouTube talk show, Bae Jin Young described his solo debut song as "a song that everyone can enjoy." When asked if he still preferred a "sexy image", the idol replied, "I used to. But I've changed my preferences since then."
