aespa member Winter recently captured even more attention at a New York event, not just for her presence but for the foreign “bodyguard” spotted alongside her.
On September 11 (local time), Winter attended the 'Ralph Lauren Spring 2026 Women’s Collection' in New York as a brand ambassador. She impressed attendees with a classic and elegant look, pairing a Ralph Lauren Fall 2025 silk dress with a corset belt, complemented by a satin crossbody chain for a sophisticated finish.

During the event, Winter’s graceful presence drew all eyes. After the show, a tall, handsome figure dressed in a suit was seen accompanying her, sparking curiosity among global K-pop fans. Standing at 188cm, the man seemed to assist Winter on her way to her car, politely preventing fans from touching or crowding her. As the social media buzz grew, the man stepped forward on TikTok to clarify his identity.
His name is Nathan Overland, who explained, “Recently, I appeared with Winter, and my social media following suddenly skyrocketed. I’m grateful for all the attention.”
He clarified, “I’m not Winter’s personal bodyguard. Actually, I’m a model hired by Ralph Lauren. I’ve been working with a modeling agency for two years and have done a few acting gigs.” Reflecting on the experience, Nathan added, “It was my first time meeting Winter. It was a precious and honorable experience.”
Meanwhile, Winter and aespa continued their U.S. promotions, appearing on ABC’s flagship morning show 'Good Morning America' on September 12 and recording for Fox TV’s popular talk show 'The Jennifer Hudson Show.'
