Actors Yoon Sun Woo and Kim Ga Eun are tying the knot this October after a decade-long relationship that began on set. On July 1, their agencies announced the wedding will be held privately with only close family and friends.
The couple first met in the 2015 KBS2 drama 'Single-minded Dandelion,' where they played love interests, and later reunited in 2017’s SBS drama 'Reunited Worlds' as siblings. Their connection grew offscreen, and after ten years of quietly nurturing their relationship, they are ready to begin a new chapter as husband and wife.
The day after their marriage announcement, both actors shared their feelings on Instagram. Yoon Sun Woo promised, “We will be each other’s strength, respecting and cherishing one another,” while Kim Ga Eun wrote, “We’ll continue to be on each other’s side and live happily.”
On September 18, reports surfaced that the wedding date is set for October 26, though Yoon Sun Woo’s agency declined to confirm details, citing the ceremony’s private nature. Soon after, Kim Ga Eun uploaded a proposal video on her YouTube channel, where she surprised Yoon Sun Woo with balloons, candles, and a cake reading “Will you marry me?” on his birthday.
Since their announcement, the couple have shared glimpses of wedding preparations and daily life through Kim Ga Eun’s YouTube channel, drawing warm support from fans.
