On August 16, TXT’s Soobin connected with fans through a live broadcast on Weverse, where he shared memories from his trainee days. During the stream, the idol opened up about the challenges he and fellow member Taehyun faced while practicing Seventeen’s "Mansae."
Soobin recalled that it was only one or two weeks after he had joined Big Hit Music, when it was just him, Taehyun, and Yeonjun in training. He shared, "Taehyun and I only practiced for a week. We didn’t even know how to dance properly back then - we were still in middle school and high school. Seventeen’s hyungs had really difficult choreography, and we were just told to learn it."
He further explained that they were told to learn the choreography by watching the practice video without formal instruction. He shared, "So Taehyun and I really tried, watching the video in 0.5 speed. Of course, we were bad." Soobin then admitted, "Well, Taehyun already shared, but we were hit a bit that time. We were hit as we learned. These days, you don’t get hit. But back then, they punished in that way."
Soobin's latest story quickly gained attention, and the video spread across various social media platforms and online communities. His candid confession sparked outrage among fans, and they commented:
