RIIZE have proven their popularity in Japan.
On August 14, the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) announced its list of certifications for July. RIIZE's first full-length album 'ODYSSEY' was among the new additions.
A goldcertification indicates that an album has sold over 100,000 copies. Based on sales, certifications are ranked as Gold, Platinum (250,000 copies sold), Double Platinum (500,000 copies), Triple Platinum (750,000 copies), and Million (1,000,000 copies sold).
The group also showed strong performance on local charts, topping Oricon's 'Weekly Overseas Album Chart' for the third time in their career.
With their latest release, RIIZE became a million seller during the first week of sales. The album also ranked #1 on the Circle Monthly Retail Album Chart for May, topped China's QQ Music Digital Album Sales Chart and earned a Platinum certification there, and hit #1 on the Billboard Japan Download Albums weekly chart.
Meanwhile, RIIZE is currently on their first world tour, 'RIIZING LOUD,' and will continue their performance at Kuala Lumpur’s Axiata Arena on August 16.
