Entertainment news YouTuber, Lee Jin Ho, has released a video raising questions against Park Na Rae's former manager and her intentions of escalating the workplace abuse controversy.
On January 9, Lee Jin Ho posted a video titled, "Shocking Exclusive! Audio File From Park Na Rae Bullying Controversy Obtained… The Truth Behind the 500 Million KRW Settlement" that delved into the backstory behind the ongoing controversy involving Park Na Rae and her former manager, 'A.'
According to Lee Jin Ho, after the controversy erupted, Park Na Rae was the first to reach out to her former manager, leading to a meeting that took place in the early hours of December 8 and lasted approximately three hours. Following the meeting, Park Na Rae stated that the misunderstanding had been resolved. However, A’s side countered that there had been neither a sincere apology nor a settlement, further escalating the dispute.
'A' also brings up Park’s dog, Bokdol, asking whether the pet went to the hospital as scheduled on November 30. Park replies through tears that she was unable to go at the time. When 'A' stresses the importance of treatment for heartworm, Park explains that she only managed to pick up medication.
The conversation also touches on concerns for Park Na Rae’s health. 'A' expresses worry about her smoking, saying, “You’re going to need another throat surgery,” and adds, “Do you want to lose your voice for the rest of your life? Why do you keep smoking?” 'A' further mentions Park Na Rae’s mother, noting with concern that she “can’t even sleep over the smallest things.”
Lee Jin Ho explained that this call provided context for Park Na Rae’s earlier statement that the two had “cried together and cleared up misunderstandings and conflict.” He argued that while 'A' later claimed Park was a source of fear due to alleged abuse of power, the call suggests 'A' was in fact someone who deeply cared for Park and was very close to her.
However, Lee Jin Ho added that while Park Na Rae may have felt the issue was sufficiently resolved after their three-hour meeting that morning, A’s attitude reportedly “changed 180 degrees” after waking up around 2 PM the same day.
Lee Jin Ho argued that the phone call indicated Park Na Rae had treated her manager with care, raising doubts about the former manager’s decision to escalate the controversy. He further claimed to have verified that the former manager had reached out to media outlets, including Dispatch, over the workplace abuse allegations.
Lee Jin Ho said this discrepancy raised doubts about the former manager’s claims, as she had initially denied contacting reporters on her own. However, according to Lee, a friend of the former manager, later confirmed that it was manager A who had reached out to Dispatch regarding the allegations involving Park Na Rae, further fueling questions surrounding the credibility of her account and the circumstances under which the controversy escalated.
Meanwhile, Park Na Rae is currently pursuing legal action, denying allegations raised by 'A,' including claims of failure to enroll in mandatory social insurance programs and unfair treatment, stating that they are not based on fact. Lee Jin Ho revealed Kakaotalk messages showing that the manager had, in fact, chosen to opt out of the essential insurance.
